Eviction Notice

I posted this when I was pregnant with Will and he was born two days later. So I thought it was worth finding out if Reed could be just as cooperative...

Your mother is issuing a notice for EVICTION. Tenant will have 2 more weeks in which you can either gather all belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, you will be physically removed from the property.

You are being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made!

Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances.

Failure to comply with the notice will result in immediate and forceful removal at mommy's discretion.

Reed's Room

I still need to hang a few things (that I don't have yet) on the walls...but for the most part, this is it!

Happy Easter!

I hope you all had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday! Will loved everything about Easter this year and it was definitely fun for all of us. We read about the resurrection story in his Bible all week and talked a lot about the meaning of Easter...which meant a lot of talking about Jesus! Yesterday, my good friend Meredith came over and Will read the resurrection story to her. She asked him where Jesus was carrying the cross, which I believe was a new question for him, and he quickly responded, "To the post office!" So we probably need to brush up on the story a little bit.

The three of us had fun dying Easter eggs last night and talking some more about Easter. Then this morning before church, Will told us, "Happy Easter Bunny!" After church today, our families came over to our house for lunch and Easter egg hunting. Will kept asking when the Easter Bunny was coming and when it was finally time to hunt the eggs, he excitedly told everyone that the Easter Bunny came. I'm not really sure where he came to this conclusion because I never told him the Easter Bunny was coming to our house...I'm sure someone did though. Will and Brayden were the only kids old enough to hunt Easter eggs this year, but they made the most of it. Will got his share of eggs and helped Brayden put some in his basket too.

We did manage to take a few pictures after church. I was NOT up to it since I've been having some pretty serious contractions since yesterday afternoon...but I'm so glad we did. I think this could be the last family picture of just the three of us before Reed gets here. The contractions haven't gotten close enough together to go to the hospital, but we must be getting closer. They have been about 5-20 minutes apart and they sometimes they go away for a couple of hours at a time. I am still hoping to make it about another week since I am only 36.5 weeks, but God knows the right time!
